Dr. Stephen Vincent Strange a.k.a. Doctor Strange is the protagonist of the films Doctor Strange, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, a short-lived character in Thor: Judgment Day, a major character in Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame and one of the two deuterargonists (MJ) in Spider-Man: No Way Home. He was once a brilliant but egocentric neurosurgeon who survived a horrific car accident. In this accident, however, his hands were so badly injured that he had to give up his profession. In search of a cure, he embarked on a journey that led him to the discovery of magic and alternate dimensions, thus becoming the supreme wizard who protects the Time Stone. After Iron Man’s death, he becomes the new mentor for Spider-Man.
