Gringotts
The Gringotts Wizarding Bank is a bank of the wizarding world in Great Britain. It is located in Winkelgasse and is watched over by goblins. The bank is named after its founder, the goblin Gringott. For his achievements he was honored with a chocolate frog trading card Famous Leprechauns.
On a silver double door at the entrance is engraved the following:
Stranger, you come right in,
Take care, however, and remember it,
Whoever wants to serve the greed of sin,
And wants to take, not earn,
He will lose in agony.
If you search in these halls
A treasure that you fall for,
Thief, be warned and tell yourself,
More than gold awaits you here.
It contains safes where customers can leave their valuables and galleons. You get to the dungeons, which are hundreds of miles below London, through a branching rail network that you travel on trolleys.
The deepest high-security dungeons are the vaults belonging to ancient wizard families, and are therefore even better guarded than the rest. They probably include, for example, the Malfoy, Lestrange, Nott, Longbottom, Greengrass, Crouch, Parkinson, Crabbe, Goyle, Black, Rosier, Bones, Abbott, etc. families.
These dungeons do not have keyholes or keys, but can only be opened by goblins. In addition, dragons guard the entrances.
