Miles Morales aka Spider-Man is the protagonist of the film Spider-Man: A New Universe and the two-part sequel Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One) and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part Two). He is a teenager with African-Latino roots who gains superpowers like those of Spider-Man through the bite of a genetically engineered spider.

Miles Morales is an Afro-Latino teenager who, thanks to a scholarship, is transferred to a special high school. Miles is a big fan of Spider-Man, however his father Jefferson Davis sees him as a troublemaker. Miles meets up with his uncle Aaron Davis one day and practices being a graffiti artist until Miles is bitten by a strange spider. To Miles’ surprise, he suddenly develops the same powers as Spider-Man, but also powers like Venom blast and invisibility.
